Causes for Hair Loss and How You Can Stop It

Hair loss can be a traumatic experience for many individuals. Most wanting to know how to stop hair loss, how to prevent it, and/or how to make hair grow. One must first determine what is the cause of the hair loss? There are many factors to consider when answering this question and those factors are:- Medical condition/Medication- Genetic predisposition- Nutrition- External Factors (Environment, Weather, Workplace)- Chemicals or Styling AidsOf the factors listed above, which are just a few to consider, an individual can have multiple issues at the same time. One can be genetically predisposed to hair loss, have an ongoing medical condition, and have poor nutrition. How can hair survive under such conditions? Hair growth happens when the body is in good health, getting proper nutrients, and the hair is not being treated properly. Too much heat, too many styling aids, creates too much stress on the hair. Also, build-up on the scalp, which blocks the follicle and prevents hair growth. One major factors, in most nearly every American today is poor nutrition. Yes, we live in the "microwave" age and our environment is not what it used to be. So we can no longer depend on food for vital nutrients. We must take supplements to make up for what we are missing. Most of the food we eat today, if not in its natural state, is devoid of nutritional value. That already places us at a defecit.Imagine if you will an individual who has poor nutrition, and is taking medication for high blood pressure, drinks highly caffeinated beverages, not really much water, and is a smoker (I'm pretty sure you know someone that falls into this category).Let's dissect:- Poor Nutrition - not getting vital nutrients the body needs to thrive and be healthy- High Blood Pressure Medication - depletes the body of Zinc, Coenzyme Q10(Zinc promotes cell division, powerful antioxidant which helps to prevent cancer, and helps balance hormone levels. Coenzyme Q10 helps with heart failure, antioxidant preventing cancer, and the digestive system to name a few.)- Caffeine - dehydrates the body, creates false sense of energy- No water consumption - body is dehydrated and toxins building up not being flushed out- Smoking - Intake of carcinogens, which can lead to various diseases and deathConsidering all the above, again I ask, how can hair survive under such conditions? My suggestion for success in this situation, incorporate more live foods into the diet. Refrain from processed foods. Drink water. Avoid caffeine or use in moderation. Quit smoking. Start an exercise regimen. And make it something fun and enjoyable. Talk to doctor/health care provider about natural supplements for prescribed medication.*Once you agree to accept these changes, then you can begin the healing process for your hair
